Solar Power-
The bottom line is, the sun will rise every day, and so every day that we go without harnessing the free power that radiates toward us is frankly a bit of a waste.  For options like wind, sometimes there are days or even years where the wind does not blow as much, but the sun remains relatively constant other than the fact that some days are more cloudy than others.

Solar Hot Water-
Hot water is expensive to maintain. There are always the changing costs of fuel to heat the water, as well as the maintenance that goes into keeping the hot water heaters running. There is one way that a lot of businesses are turning to: Solar Hot Water. This method allows the sun to heat the water instead of fuels and still creates just as much hot water, if not more.

Laminated Solar Panels-
Almost every roof in this state is pitched, these roofs allow for a great place to laminate some solar panels. Even though they don't collect as much energy as the non-laminated panels, they are still very beneficial and still collect energy.  The great thing about laminated solar panels is that they are virtually unnoticeable.  For example, when we visited the NRG building, we had no clue that their whole roof was covered in solar panels until the manager specifically informed us.  They are well suited for a place that doesn't have room on the ground for solar panels but what to collect energy from the sun.

Non-Laminated Solar Panels-
Non-laminated solar panels are more efficient, and depending on the system they are using, can collect a significant amount of power.  The three types of non-laminated panels are stationary panels, tracking panels, and panels with GPS built in.  The stationary panels are obviously the most basic setup.  They simply must be placed in a location and at the correct angle to catch as much sunlight as possible.  The tracking panels are set to move in a specific pattern every day.  The panels with GPS built in are the most efficient, because based on their technology, they are able to point in the direction where the sun will be strongest at any given time. Any model is better than not having any because they are all collecting the sun's energy and providing it to us for use.
